Isopropyl will remove the sharpie off most things. Try soaking the shoes in that. Also, they make power washers with swappable nozzles that increase pressure. Mine can go to insane pressures that cut holes in pavement I was cleaning paint off of. It also has soap tanks where it can mix chemicals into the pressurized water. I got it on Amazon so you should be able to find one like it.
Can you try the actual KIWI brand shoe cleaning products, you know, because they are specifically made to clean your shoes. Like, how about getting some Edge Shine in there?
