“Shoulder pads” are epaulettes. The lace depending from them is fringe. Supposed to protect from sword blows.
1, Air forces uniform, i agree with the usa air force, but i would have picked ww2 air forces. 2. indian army? that looks like what you see in a three ring circus warn by little face painted persons. 3. navy uniforms, US or British, or Russian, what ever but the basic Cracker Jacks has been my fav. Oh and the crackerjack uniform goes back further than ww2. 4, My choice for best dress uniforms will always be the nazi ss black dress uniforms! followed very closely by the US Marines! By the way, i feel the new us army uniform looks slack assed and slobelly. they went to a better uniform for a reason.
We all know witch uniform is actually the sharpest looking one… It's just a shame that the Swastika ruins everything….

Re the kilt, the white thing is a sporran which is a kind of purse or pocket. The kilt itself never has pockets. This sporran is the most expensive type out there. It has white horse hair that extend down to the bottom of the kilt. An "ordinary" sporran is either plain leather or may have fur on the exterior (frequently badger). An ordinary sporran can run up to about $100. The horse hair one, however, runs $1,000. Not something the average guy is going to buy. The soldiers are issued it.
They're called epaulets. On the shoulders, the hanging part is called fringe, not "lace".
