Ninjutsu, or more specifically the Taijustu component of Ninjutsu, is indeed very interesting to study and train in but it has very limited use in today's fighting. That's because its movements are way too slow for today's fighters. Yes, the techniques are indeed very powerful, I'm talking about the strikes here, but they're very slow. There could be certain situations in which some of these techniques can be effective but traditional Japanese Taijustu alone is almost, and I don't mean to be disrespectful when I say this, useless in today's fighting. If you combine it with something else, like Karate (like I do, I also train in Nippon Kempo)), boxing, kickboxing and Judo, it can be much more effective than used alone. MUCH MORE EFFECTIVE.

Although this is an amazing video, and the martial arts do work, why call it ninjutsu? The Bansenshukai ninja manual, along with the Shoninki and the Shinobi Hiden, have all been translated. For years ninja masters have claimed ninjutsu lineage and all they did was drip feed information on real ninjutsu.
With the full publication of these three texts and more, people have a clear understanding of the truth of historical shinobi arts and are no longer left in the dark about them. Here for the first time the world may see the deadly and complex ways of the shinobi and appreciate the subtleties of Japanese spying and operations in enemy territory. But it has nothing to do with martial arts. Why still hold on to the word? Do you just like the image?
